Vernon has been heavily influenced by his Caribbean heritage. He greatly admires the work of Vidal Sassoon and Patrick Cameron, because of their emphasis on clean lines and a well-structured look, and it is combining these ideas with his own natural creativity that he has come up with the concept of being “casually fabulous”.
